The first presentation of Danza de la Pluma by the Grupo de Promesa 2007 - 2009 in New Mexico was at El Rancho Las Golondrinas living history museum in Santa Fe as part of the festival ¡Viva México! Charreada Rodeo and Mexican Market. The festival was cosponsored by the Mexican Consulate. The group opened the celebrations for the festival.
