Sierra Tarahumara Chihuahua, Mexico
Since 1998 Metamorfosis has been documenting cross-cultural ritual dances in the Sierra Tarahumara region of Chihuahua, Mexico.
In the "Pueblo Cabecera" (Head Town) of Norogachi we have documented quite a few times, both Matachín Dances and Holy Week dances, and were invited to participate in and document the ritual dance celebration of "Tutuguri" for the ignauguration of the new Ceremonial Dance Hall.
